LOAA
The Leadership Omaha Alumni Association (LOAA) began in 1980 to establish, promote and foster leadership for the Omaha community. Anyone who is a graduate of Leadership Omaha or a graduate of a similar community leadership program in another city who now resides in Omaha may become a member of the alumni association.
Dues for the alumni association are paid on a rolling year basis. Annual dues are $50; dues to become a supporting member of the association are $80. Members have the option of paying online through www.leadershipomaha.org.
LOAA facilitates communication among its members and provides information about current community issues and needs. In addition, through the Board Bank, LOAA helps connect community organizations with graduates of the Leadership Omaha program by identifying backgrounds, areas of interest, and talents of the graduates with the needs of the community organizations.
LOAA is pleased to sponsor www.leadershipomaha.org in order to encourage interaction between the members of the association and with the community. The Web site is not to be used for mass marketing of products, services or events not related to LOAA.
For more information about LOAA, contact Lynda Shafer, manager of leadership and workforce development and director of the Leadership Omaha program, at (402) 978-7928 or e-mail lshafer@omahachamber.org.
