Leadership Omaha alumni, we invite you to consider hosting a school principal in a job shadowing opportunity for our first annual, “A Corporate Experience for Principals” on Thursday, September 25 from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Building off the success of “A Principal for a Day,” the goal of this event is to: – Provide school principals with an opportunity to job shadow a business leader in a specific business/industry identified by the principal – Build an understanding of business and industry, the types of careers within that industry, and the skills and knowledge required – Create relationships and develop networks between principals and business leaders Participating school districts include: Millard, Omaha Public Schools, Papillion-La Vista, Ralston and Westside If you are interesting in hosting a school principal and providing a job shadow experience, please register at http://leadershipomaha.org/EventsDetail.aspx?e=42 If you have further questions, please contact Shannon Maguire @ 346-5000.
