From local community health issues to the disastrous earthquake in Haiti, Omahans have been focused on health and wellness in recent weeks. The Leadership Omaha Alumni Association board invites you to join us on Thursday, Feb., 25, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Kutak Rock LLP, in the Omaha Building at 1650 Farnam St., for an informative evening looking at local trends in public health and learning about local efforts to alleviate the suffering in Haiti. Free parking is available. Simply press the security button at the parking garage and identity yourself as Leadership Omaha.

From 5 to 6 p.m. enjoy drinks and hors d'oeuvres with fellow LO alumni and their guests.. From 6 to 7 p.m. Adi Pour, Ph.D., director of the Douglas County Health Department, will address community health issues impacting our workplaces and families. In addition, representatives of Creighton University and the University of Nebraska Medical Center who have led local relief efforts for Haiti will talk about their work. Cost for the event is $15.
